In 1983 Sager Group established a joint venture with AEG Telefunken of Germany called SAGER ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL CO. LTD. (SAGEMCO) in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Georg F. Mueller was appointed General Manager. The Company carried out works of Telecommunication and information Systems, Automates Systems, Radio and Radar Systems, Power generation, Power distribution and Power transmission. The company was successful in executing many projects in the Kingdom. In 1996, while restructuring, AEG Telefunken sold some of their activities and those remaining became a division of Daimler-Benz (DaimlerChrysler). Sager and AEG Telefunken jointly agreed to end the joint venture in December 1999 and Sager Group took over full control of SAGEMCO and changed the name to GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY. The company continues to operate under this name and is doing business in the fields of Communication and Information Technology. The company has since been dissolved.

Sager Group entered into a joint venture with Kessler+Luch a German company in 1983 for carrying out Mechanical and Air conditioning works in the Kingdom. This is subsidiary company of STEAG AG. Mr. Armin Muller was appointed its General Manager. The company was responsible to plan, design, supply, install and maintain works for mechanical and air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, piping, fire protection and other related activities. The company could not secure business and was finally closed.
